About Lisa Erhart

Lisa Erhart is a funding specialist, grants assessor, author and founder of Funding4Growth — a global platform that helps women-led and innovation-driven businesses understand how funding decisions are made, and build the operational evidence that funders recognise.

Before founding F4G, Lisa led large-scale corporate innovation programmes at significant budget scale, built an international sustainability consultancy with UK and US partnerships, and was recognised with the Visy Environmental Award from Creative Partnerships Australia for collaborative outcomes achieved with Live Performance Australia.

Having secured $2M within 18 months as an applicant, and assessed more than $50M in applications from the inside, Lisa brings a perspective that is direct, grounded and rarely available to founders.

The Member Session
How Funding Decisions Are Really Made —
and What Your Members Can Do About It

A complimentary 60–90 minute live session delivered online to your community. Lisa draws directly on her experience as a government grants assessor to give your members the insider perspective most founders never access: what assessors are looking for beyond the guidelines, why strong applications still fail, and the practical steps to address it before submitting a single word. The session is tailored to your audience — whether early-stage founders, scaling businesses, or underrepresented founder communities.

  • Understand the criteria assessors apply — and what the guidelines don't tell you
  • Identify the most common reasons applications fail that have nothing to do with business quality
  • Leave with a clear next step: assessing their own funding readiness before they apply
  • Access F4G tools and resources to continue building after the session
